Cultural events listings, nightlife, going out, calendars, schedules

The question of nightlife and cultural events listings all over India comes up so often, thought it might be nice to collect some sites on it. Rather not add every other iffy commercial and highly localized calendar you know of, but to collect some good ones would seem worthwhile. Some I know of, often thanks to various posters here:

TimeOut India http://www.timeoutindia.net/, a fortnightly magazine, currently in Mumbai (Bombay), Delhi, and Bengaluru (Bangalore). I've found the sites not very useful, the magazines at least in Delhi and Mumbai I know to be really excellent, and covering just about any range of interests. Available with most newspaper sellers, not expensive, either.

The Burrp sites http://burrp.com/, this leads you to the Mumbai edition by default. I thought for years that the various editions weren't interlinked, until I finally realized that just by clicking the city name at top left, you can move on to other cities; currenty quite a two handfuls of them.

Member Girl_on_the_Move just came up with these sites that look worth checking out, both again cover quite a number of cities:

Then member Vaibhav_arora just came up with this free online magazine apparently geared to expats, with monthly listings for it looks like Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi:

Another find by Vaibhav_arora: Explocity http://explocity.com/, currently covers Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata (as well as Dubai and New York City).

They do a magazine as well for most of these cities, the latest edition of which is available online; look for the cover image on those pages, currently at left. It could cater to more of an upscale crowd, looks worthwhile, though. Also tips on getting around those cities, daytrips from there, general visitor information, etc.
