cd's online?

Anyone know a reputable place in India where you can place an order from the US---- to deliver to someone in India? I can use amazon, ebay etc. from here but than still have to mail it myself. Am trying to think of an easier way?

Happy Holidays !!

check the music section of www.rediff.com. They have done a good job with books for me. The 'search' option, if you are looking for a specific title can be a little frustrating. Specially if you are looking for something that is not top-selling.

I've never used rediff, but I have used the shopping section of indiatimes.com

The link is here: http://shopping.indiatimes.com/

I've ordered music cd's from Planet M off here, and books and flowers. Once I even sent a cake

Delivery was fast and prices were incredibly cheap (in US dollars!)

cds online

A very good place is www.hamaracd.com
this site lets you make your own customized cds...right upto the message and the label...its really cool...for now they only do indian songs...the company is based in India and will ship anywhere...its owned by a big Indian business house.. i used them and it was great...its a novel concept...
choose your songs...select the order inwhich you want them to play..write a message and choose your own personal label..where else would you get this..you also get to listen to a sample of the song...
enjoy it.

Hey BC4E,
Though, I am not sure about Ebay, I do order books/CDs from Amazon all the time. I circle it among my friends once in 3-4 months that I am about to buy books/CDs from Amazon. They come up with their list of goodies and we all end up pooling the shipping cost which is drastically reduced. On ebay, I have observed that many sellers ship internationally, but Amazon almost always ships internationally and I have never lost any parcel from them though sometimes it takes upto a month for the packages to reach Delhi.
