I found this web site- indiaclub.com and I was wondering if any of these books are available in India?? And if so, cheaper?? Also- I'm a bit of a book worm and I was wondering how much books cost in India, and which kinds are available? And how much it would cost to send books back to the US?Sorry for all the questions. Thanks.

Checkout India times store. They have a very good collection & offers excellent prices. If you are regular buyer, you can join their book club for additional discounts. They sell books of many reputed publishers.

Penguin books too a good source (only Penguin published books).

Then, if you are visiting India, there are many great bookstores at Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai etc. (there is a small but famous bookstore in Delhi called Bookworm )

FOr me India was paradise. I bought a suitcase full of books. Being in Mimbai for a month, it was difficult not to pick up long ago out of print abscure books of the street everday passing by Churchgate. New Indian literature will run you between 200 to 400 Rs. There is also a huge market for used books as well.
