Whee! Happy to hear the mystery has been solved! This show looks really cool - I was looking through the pictures trying to guess which one went with which song. One of the men looks like a mighty good "Big B" (Amitabh Bachchan) impersonator.

Yes, you are right! If he only had a white beard they would be identical, ha ha.

The show is impressive, so if it comes to NY you shouldn´t miss it!

Today they start in Austria, and the following months they are touring in Germany and Belgium.

Bye!

dance n the bollywood show

hi folks

im the writer director of the bollywood show and i thought you might like to know that the song is a trad song from rajasthan

called rangerassya which has been recorded, arranged and played

especially for the recent 08 tour of europe africa and australia,

by salim-sulaiman.

it occupies the same position as the sequence we had before
with nimbooda, dolare, and dhol e baje, which we removed, with great heart ache to make way for more original music in the show.

it was choreorgraphed by vaibhavi in bollywood fil studios earlier this year and we have yet to find a stage big enough to see its beauty in full. the best way to see it is from above, as the choreorgaphy is huge sweeping circles, that need a camera fixed above the stage to see the patterns.

so it is correct you cannot see it in any film, but it will be on the new show cd. we actually only play part of the song as it goes for maybe 12 minutes.

i hope this clears matters up. very pleased you enjoyed the show.

Hey Toby, welcome!!! I hope you stick around.

Glad to talk to you about anything of course, but I can never have too much Bollywood conversation myself.

Wow!!!

Thank you very much for all the information, Toby!!!

I look forward to listening to the new CD!!! The problem is that if it can only be bought at the show, I will have to wait till it comes again to Barcelona!!!

So you are the writing director of the show? Are you then the one responsible for the spoken dialogues, or also for all the lyrics in the songs?
