Saw Rang De Basanti a few weeks ago and liked it a lot. Of course the fact that we saw it at the Raj Mandir in Jaipur may have had something to do with that! Our driver, Narender, didn't like the first half at all, but once the action started in the second half he quite enjoyed himself.
Last night we watched "The Living Corpse" and although not an Indian film - it's Pakistani - really liked it. '60s vampire horror with both hipster bongo sci-fi soundtrack and vintage Bollywood style song and dance. Good fun!

So Jivan,

What was the original "BluffMaster" movie, then?

Thumbs up

two fairly good movies that i saw were 'malamaal weekly' and 'taxi no 9211' - the former is, i understand, based on a hollywood one; the origins of the latter are unknown. if it really came out of the bollywood story room, good going.

Happened to see 'Being Cyrus' yesterday and liked it a lot. A fairly dark movie with loads of twisted up families..backed up by brilliant performances and 'hold your breath' suspense. I perticularly liked Dimple Kapadia's redition of a ambitious and frutrated housewife. Naseer was his usual brilliant self.

I havent seen "The Game" but i have seen "The Matchstick men" starring Nicolus Cage, directed by Ridley Scott and the storyline seems quite similar

Saw Banaras on the first day of its release.

Just out of this World, absolutely divine.
