Nattusbs,

Thanks for the link to that interview. I was particularly intrigued by this:

You also have a chapter on Shah Rukh and the underworld.
Yes. But I would rather not go there.

Ooooh! Scandal?

But the best bits were some of the comments underneath:

Shahrukh is such a big star... I just wanted to know if he ever goes to toilet .. because I never seen him doing in the movie... Please consider this as very urget...

Is sharukh married ?? if yes, why? if not, why not? urgent answer needed..

No, no scandal. Sometime in 2002 or so the underworld in Mumbai was very busy extorting money or favors from celebrities in the movie industry by threatening them. SRK, like many others, received threatening phone calls but was able to deflect the threats by being very polite and respectful, but not agreeing to the mobsters' demands that he make certain movies for their buddies, etc. For instance, he would politely tell them that he didn't like the scripts or that his schedule was too full. When one tough guy abused him because he wasn't working with Muslim directors, SRK rightfully pointed out to him that he had worked with several in the past, and would in the future, but he didn't choose his movies on that basis. Eventually he earned their respect enough that they left him alone.

I believe Anupama's reason for not wanting to "go there" with this particular reporter is because that's all the media wanted to talk about, and it was really only a small part of the book.

Actually, I could leave all the Bollywood heroes.....except one. That Kunal Kapoor is one tall, dark and handsome fine hunka man.
He had the same hair in class 8 as he does now. Since he's 40 now u can do the math about how long he's had it.

I'm sorry, but that's about as silly as complaining he has the same eyes now he did as a kid. A person's hair grows in a certain way, there's not much they can do about it. His has been very long (Asoka, Koyla) very short (Main Hoon Na, Chak De India) and every variation in between. What's he supposed to do, shave his head for you?

I have no idea what you're on about. Altho English is not my mother tongue, I wasn't aware that the string of words, syntax and grammar I used indicated a complaint of any kind. If it does, please point me to an independent authority, i.e. not yourself, to support your statement.
If anyone was talking about SRK changing his hair, it wasn't me. Read the post which I quoted, properly this time, and re-direct your beef. That's if u feel u legitimately have one. At the cost of you spitting more fire in my direction for daring to comment further on your precious hero's hair, let me say that I personally cudn't care less whether SRK keeps his hair long, short, straight, curly, or not at all.
In any case I was referring to his basic hairstyle, which hasn't changed since he was in 8, except for when he changes it for a particular movie. And people not being able to change their hair or style, well, now that's the silliest thing I've heard all week.
