Badshah Khan: A Man to Match his Mountains
This book is a treasure but very little known - Badshah Khan: A Man to Match his Mountains by Eknath Easwaran, Penguin Books; pages 274, Rs.295. Paperback
Click on links - http://www.hinduonnet.com/fline/fl1821/18211090.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khan_Abdul_Ghaffar_Khan Sometimes you can pick it up on ebay or maybe in an Indian bookstore. Its great non fiction. As Ghandi his friend was shot and killed by someone who thought he was a moslem sympathizer Badshah Khan was shot and wounded by a person who felt he was a Hindu sympathizer. He once led an army of 100,000 strong (unarmed against the British) |

Yes I realize that. I thinh Ghandi was the last great leader. Being in the USA especially we have a vacuum in the enlighted leadership. |
