"averting the apocalypse" book

Has anyone read "Averting the apocalypse- social movements in india today"
by Arthur Bonner ?

i have one month left to read as much as i can about india..
and i got this book, but if its not worth it, id much rather read other things.

I haven't read it. Perhaps nobody here has read it. Anyway, I think you're the best one to decide if a book is worth reading or not. At least until we know how you define "worth reading". Read 10 pages of it, then you'll know.

uy its just that i have 1239i2342348 books i want to read
so, some things are more "worth" reading then others, in terms of how much knowledge and understanding will i gain about the country from the book.
which is why i made the other post.. the "must reads"

im currently reading the upanishads and (some of) the vedas, and also the history of the Vedas.. and then "great short stories from India" (which are so amazing)
and a wonderful book on Indian art and architecture

and for political/historical books, some are definitely more "worth" reading then others..
