Articles on Tourism

Can anybody give some online address to get arcicles on Tourism (Like : Tourist Behavior, Tourist Guide Education & etc)?

Any help appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is the sort of thing you're after.

I did a quick google search of UK pages only, (tourism studies articles, and tourism Bangladesh article) and found a couple of things that might be or might not be vaguely helpful:

At Strathclyde University (Scotland), there's a guy from Bangladesh doing what seems like hard core post-graduate research into tourism marketing in Bangladesh. His name and email address are there on the public website, at www.strath.ac.uk/htm/staff/researchstudents. I'm not sure how current the website is, and he may be away on leave - but I'm guessing he might be glad to offer any help he could, to someone interested.

ingentaconnect.com - one of the regular databases covering some articles that might be of interest - you can usually view the abstracts for free, but to read the articles themselves is about US$25 a pop (unless you have access through business/educational institution)

A number of UK colleges and universities offer courses - couldn't see any weblinks to free articles, but if you spend enough time going through them, checking out their staff and publications lists, there's a good chance you'd come across something interesting

Another tip - on Amazon.co.uk, once you find a book that looks interesting and relevant, the website often allows you to read the first few pages. Only the first few, which is sometimes not much more than the index, but can still be interesting.

There's stuff on wikipedia.org too.

(Now I'd better stop using this as an excuse and get back to my own work ...)
