art galleries in India
Hi,
Many travellers, especially foreigners, make it a point to visit, or atleast peep into some major contemporary art galleries in India (like Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai, ArtToday or Dhoomimal in New Delhi) But most of them are content with the "art-marts" that sell cheap paintings. do you agree with this? If yes, what could be done to make the travellers and tourists familiar with the serious Indian Contemporary art? -- abhijeet |
