Anyone reccomend a good CD?
I'm really missing those Bollywood hits.....anyone recommend a good compilation CD, with all the hits from the last year on it?
Stuff like that "Jhalak Dikhlaja", and the one with Ash Rai and Big B singing something like 'Khajerahey, khajerey....", sorry can't give more details..... Thanks! |

The Big B and Aishwariya song (Kajra Re)is from the Bunty aur Babli soundtrack. I don't really know about compilations, but you can't really go wrong with stuff by Emraan or Himesh Reshamiya. Loads of the recent bollywood tracks seem to be done by them. I'm loving the Aashiq Banaya soundtrack. Another fab CD is Adaat by Jal. They're a Pakistani band who wrote loads of songs that have since been re-done and become big bollywood hits (you'll definitely recognise stuff on there).
Other soundtracks that I really associate with my last India visit are: Salaam Namaste Dhoom Murder Zinda Aksar Barsaat Shaan - Tisnagi Bed Lounge (DJ Sukethu) Woo! Hindi music - I love it! :-) |
