AM Radio Frequencies ????

Hi All,
Can anyone please give me the AM radio frequency for BBC World Service?
And any others that are good (I'd love a nice jazz station)

Just got a new radio walkman!
Trying to tune it to preset channels without knowing the frequency numbers is a nightmare.

BBC World Service is not broadcast on AM. It is broadcast on Short Wave.

The frequencies on which the BBC World Service is broadcast depends on where in the world you are located.

For South Asia, the frequencies and times (they change frequencies regularly to make way for other broadcasters) are as follows:

02:00 to 02:30 Daily 1413kHz

03:00 to 05:00 Daily 12095kHz

13:00 to 17:00 Daily 6195kHz

If there are simultaneous broadcasts on different frequencies, simply tune into the one with the better/best reception for your location.
