Maybe Saif Ali Khan's girlfriend Rosa could play her instead? She's got the whole Italian-in-a-sari thing going already (http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/7...8,00180007.htm)
And Saif can play Rajiv :P ![]() |

Khan, who has previously declined to talk about his relationship publicly, reportedly told Stardust that similarities between Indian and Italian culture drew the couple together.
"Women from southern Italy and India are closer than you would imagine in terms of family," he was quoted as saying. - Hmmmm…….. That’s interesting!!!! If the subject is ‘Woman’, Dr. Khan is a very knowledgeable and experienced type of person. Guerik, I am not sure Rosa or Ash who will be the best but I am sure that Saif will do better than Salman. - Somnath |

Go ahead Sirenesongs, who knows you may discover acting talents.
Seriously speaking I read Rashid Kidwai biography two years ago and can say - it's very good and kind to Sonia book, not so kind to her party that make it one of the most objective in the world of Indian politics. Comparing it with Tariq Anwar's Nerhu Gandhi dynasty it looks more unbiased, without feeling of pro-so called secular ideology. Of course he had not constant direct access to Sonia and probably this is the only flaw of this work. However I cannot imagine how Mr Manohar will adapt this book to movie criteria - the book is more like big article from newspaper devoid of action. Stories of whom Mr Manohar is casting on role of Sonia are continuously run by Indian entertainment magazines - some look at them as just a trick to attract attention of Sonia and maybe potential sponsors. Even my favourite actress Preity Zinta (with sophisticated make up) was once tipped for this role. Anyway, I admire Sonia political career and her refusal to be Indian prime minister. She run election campaign in 2004 restlessly - visited all Indian regions like a western backpacker with eyes wide opened and compassionate, full of joy and energy. She is the biggest political asset India has in this century. |
