Dear Somnath....Absolutely no clue what he sounds like. Could be along the lines of Tibetian/Buddhist chants. I've experienced that in Tibet and Bodh-gaya. But can't figure out if that would have mass appeal [no dhick-chak you know].
A very intering album I have features a mongolian vocalist who make the most amazing sounds. He is on a couple of tracks of a Bela Fleck DVD "Live at the Quick" If you like jazz and free form music you'll love this. Can help you getting hold of a copy. May the force be with you!! |
