Other Gurudwaras or shrines to see in Patna

Hi all,

I am planning a trip with my family to Patna Sahib end of October/

Please could someone suggest how many days is needed to see all the Gurudwaras around Patna Sahib?

Please suggest some other Gurudwaras to visit or mandirs or any other sites nearby.

Also what kind of temperature can I expect any advise on clothing?

Many thanks,

Ideally two days are enough for a Patna trip.

It would be great if you could rhyme your trip with Durga Puja, as it is a big celebartion time in Patna.

While in Patna city area, you may visit Patandevi temple, Agamkuan; Kumhrar; Mahavir Mandir near Patna Jn.

Besides Patna Sahib, you may visit Gurudwara Gai Ghat, Gurudwara Guru ka Bagh, Gurudwara Gobind Ghat, Gurudwara Bal Lila Maini and Gurudwara Handi Sahib at Danapur.

Climate would be moderate.

Khaja, Tilkut, Litti-Chokha, Parval ki Bhujia, if you are a little more adventurous then try Chathail ki Bhujia. See if you can get "Makai ki Roti" anywhere. It is not the same as "Makki di Roti" but made out of "Makai ka Sattu" and has a crumbly consistency.
Ah! I nearly forgot Thekua with "Ol ka Achar".

Not trying to dishearten her (your aunty)! Looting is not rampant there!!

You would be very safe there. There are a lot of tourists visiting place.
