Best time to visit Bodh Gaya

Hi friends
I want to visit Bodh Gaya with my faimily. Kindly suggest me what month will be better to visit bodh gaya and how many days will be enough to visit all the interesting places in bodh gaya.

Bingo!! definitely winters..too hot in summers!!

Bodhgaya receives bitter cold during December to Mid February and burning hot during late May to mid-July.

Hence, a pleasant tour to Bodhgaya could be planned during end of February to mid April and again from October to November!

Ok, let me clarify what the bittier cold means for Bodh Gaya. The Minimum temperatures would be around 3-4 degree celsius or may even touch 2 degrees once in the whole season during end december and january.

I meant the same!! ... And again, there would be a lot of fog around...., so late trains & delayed flights... due to poor visibility...

Just had to clarify because for people from some parts of the world, those temperatures might just be normal and bitter cold may actually mean temaperatures much much below the freezing points. Depends on the region.

Bitter Cold in Bodh Gaya between November to February

I would say, there is Better Cold during winter in Bodh Gaya i.e - Maximum around 20-25 * C and minimum around 4- 7 * C

For Tourists from SriLanka- it may be bitter cold
Tourists from Europe - it is good and comfortable weather

How is late August and early September?

Weather just after monsoon will give you lush green environ!
