Where to buy a hair brush?
I'm in bangalore for business, just off MG Road. I managed to forget my hair brush at home. Something like this would be perfect, but at this point, I'm not picky.
http://www.folica.com/Denman_Hyflex_V_d4057.html The nice hotel people tried to give me directions to a mall, but I never found it . It is possible I don't know what an Indian mall looks like. ![]() |

adjacent to mg road is brigade road... thats one of them places where folks shop till they drop! get to the "health and glow" store there. its waay down the road: same building as Planet M, and next to Nigiris Dept Store - there is a 'health n glow' on mg road as well, next to food world. hopefully you will find your brush there. and... for your perusal - malls in india :brishti |

Thank you so much. I think I had actually made it to Brigade Rd, but didn't realize it. Plus, it was getting dark.
I do have to say I was perfectly comfortable wandering around lost. ![]() |

Yay, I found my hairbrush at the Health and Glow store in Garuda Mall.
I was starting to think that no one brushed their hair here, despite all evidence that they actually do. |

Seeing the title, I was thinking how hard can a local cosmetics-cum-all-purpose-store be to find there (and certainly in Bangalore!)Oh well, another situation fixed indeed then ![]() (Reminded now of trying to describe what, for an obvious lack of the local language, a candle was in some village store. Took us the better of an afternoon I think, and drawings didn't help either. We were of course and interestingly shown half the stock in the process.)

So, along the same area, I caught a cold while i was in Bangalore. Apparently "cold medicine" doesn't meant what I think it means, because I was met with many puzzled responses. I finally found a pharmacy, and asked for cold medicine. The pharmacy happily gave me some lovely pills in a blister pack, and told me to take 2 a day for 10 days. Which seemed odd to me, but whatever.
I get back to the hotel, and it turned out they had given me antibiotics. Which, not helpful for a common cold. Luckily, the hotel gave me enough decongestant to see me through. |
