What to do - a stopover of 7 hours???
On a flight from Calcutta to Dubai I stop on Bangalore for about 7.5 hours. Suggestions re: what to do with the time? I remember a posh white stucco (??) cafe/restaurant in Bangalore when I was there in 1975 that was full of British ex-pats who decided to stay in India after "independence". Anyone know if it still exists, and where?
Suggestions welcome. |

What time of day or night is the transit ?
You need to check-in 3 hours before for the international leg. Effectively, that leaves you with 4 hours...To get to the city and back - 1 hour each way... What do you want to do in 2 hours ? ribhu |

Agree with ribhu, now with the international airport a good 35 km away from the city you will hardly have time to even dash through the city.

Forget doing anything. Just sleep through the transit.
