Weekend Trip - any suggestions?

I am in Bangalore for about three weeks during April. I would like to visit another location during the easter weekend. Initial thoughts are Goa, Cochin or Chennai (Beach location). Thinking of using a cheap flight from Bangalore. Any suggestions or advice appreciated. If bored you are welcomed to join, in which case please PM me.

There's a small green book called Weekend Breaks from Bangalore that has lots of ideas. Newstands as well as bookstores carry it.

I went to Coorg about a month ago -- staying at a coffee plantation, Alath-Cad (http://www.alathcadcoorg.com/). There are nature preserves and stuff in Coorg, but I just sort of kicked back at the plantation. To get there, you take train/bus to Mysore, and then another three-hour bus ride

I haven't gone yet, but I'm looking forward to going to the island of Devbagh,near the town of Karwar, on the Arabian Sea. You can fly to Goa and then get a car to drive you 2 hours south -- there's also a 12-hour overnight bus from Bangalore.
