wanting self contained accommodation bangalore

Hi,

My hubby and i are coming to bangalore from Coffs harbour Australia mid jan for 1 month and was wondering if there was any expats who would like a house sitter etc - we both love pets. .....

Alternatively can someone recommend a good apartment for approx $800 US?

the ones i have checked over the internet are way more expensive...
would appreciate your help

thanks

i don't know where you've been looking, but you will be able to get good acco starting from 10,000/- up. That's approx. $200 US. For $ 800 you should be able to get a huge plush place. I know of quite a few brokers around the Indiranagar area. If you want i can put you on to them.

Natasha they need it for only one month. And for one month, most of the service appartments charge $800-1000. And the regular houseowners would royally refuse to rent it for a single month. But you can actually lure them by offering extra money - say $400 for a month, and they may accept.

thanks for your reply - I would be very happy if we could get something for $400 US for the month.......so would you recommend that we just arrive and stay at a hotel for the 1st couple of nights then contact a real estate agent or someone to look at a few .....or is it a busy period and will we find it hard to rent something fully furnised?

googling "one month accommodation bangalore" gave me quite a few.

This one looked particularly interesting:
http://www.indiamart.com/burlingtons/

seems to run about 5000 rps max. (oh, +15% luxury tax, so a bit higher than that. But still well under $800 USD).

I don't know if it's where in Bangalore you're looking for, though.

I think initally for a few days you can stay in a hotel...then insturd of contacting the broker..the best option is to by the local news paper freeads or addmag...which provides all the info abt the bangalore wareabout...as you might have to pay extra to the brokers...thats almost one months charges...if you go through the news paper you can contact the people directly and chk for the houses preferabely to the place you would like to visit..

looks like upto 5000 Rs/day to me. Even their lowest priced rooms will cost more then $800 a month.
