Hi IMer's,
Is it easy to get a cab within Bangalore? During 7-8AM and 6-7PM? How much is the usual fare for a ride and how much are tips? Thanks in Advance! |

Its fairly easy to get cabs.. you get prepaid cabs at the airpor, bus station and railway station.. or there are many "call cabs" available that you can look up any yellow pages for bangalore (you could call 080 23333333 for list of call cabs).
Now, coming to the "fare" part of your question... its only fair to expect an appropriate "fare" depending on where you are traveling to ![]() So.. it depends.

I guess so.. but I am not really too sure. If I remember right, it was 2kms, INR35 is the minumum. But no one agrees for a ride for the minumum. So generally its a 100.
