Spelt flour in Bangalore?

Hello and warm greetings to you all.
I just discovered this forum, and thought maybe you people can help me with some info.
IŽll be moving to Bangalore soon, and wondered whether spelt flour is available there anywhere. Please let me know. Here in Europe I have been using spelt flour for the past years to replace wheat flour for making chapatis, as a doctor advised me to do so, and it really benefitted me. Please let me know in case you can help me.
Thank you

Spelt flour is a European thing. unlikely to be found in India where gluten-filled flour is more common.

that's what i was afraid of. I was thinking whether he was saying 'godumavu '(in tamil) which translates to wheat? I guess, I'm wrong here.

Thank you so much for your replies so far!
I found this on the internet, maybe it makes things a little clearer (no picture, though):

Spelt (Triticum spelta) is an ancient type of wheat that's native to southern Europe, where it's been used for thousands of years. It has a mellow nutty flavour and is easily digestible, and has a slightly higher protein content than ordinary wheat. Spelt can be tolerated by many people with wheat intolerances.

Spelt is most often milled into spelt flour, which is available in health-food stores. It can be substituted for ordinary wheat flour in baked goods.

From a different site:

..... Lulled into complacence by the fact that international prices of a range of agricultural crops ruled well above domestic prices, India bound its tariffs on a number of commodities like maize, rice and spelt wheat at zero,....

Well, there's something called Squirrel(Anil in Tamil) brand 'samba broken wheat' It's has the colour of light wet beach sand. actually, looks like coarse wood shavings.

Is that it? Will try to post a pic once I locate my camera batteries.

Thank you once again for all you do for me. This is so nice of you!
I am not sure whether this is it, though; the spelt flour I buy here (itŽs called dinkel in German) is a of a real flour texture, I mean it doesnŽt look like wood shavings
What is this thing called kotu ( I found this on the internet), but I think it is more like buckwheat flour, not spelt flour.
Maybe health food stores in Bangalore are the best chance of finding it, what do you think?
Thanks again. I send you warm greetings.

Why not just fill your suitcase with enough of it to last you the time here, much easier to stick with what you know surely!
