Six month assignment in BLR
Hi all,
I am relocating from Boston to Bangalore. I am of Indian origin but have hardly seen any india. I would like to travel extensively in india but only over weekends. I will have a generous budget since this is a once in a life time opportunity. So what are the place i could go to over the weekends by Plane, Train, Car, or the Bullock Cart? Cant wait to explore India! SC |

Almost all of south india is accessible from Bangalore with overnight journey by bus/train. Depending on what are your interests.. there are thousands of places all over south where you can spend your weekends. I would suggest you to settle down to bangalore first.. spend a month and then begin to explore.
