Second hand furniture shops

Does anyone know of a second hand furniture shop in Bangalore?

There's a great place in Chennai called Mani's where you can find second-hand antique/vintage Indian furniture. I'm hoping to find something similar in Bangalore.

I'm sorry to bump such an old post

but I am super-curious to see if anyone knows of any second hand furniture shops in Bangalore, or indeed, other cities in India.

GEETANJALI

How often have you walked into one of those designer homes and wanted that antique Chettinad door for your house? Well, here is the place for you: Geetanjali where you can buy without burning a hole in your wallet. Known for its collection of antique and colonial furniture, Geetanjali is the one point stop-shop for your interiors. All their furniture is original antique and comes with a date and historical information.

Four-poster beds, bookshelves, rosewood chairs, colonial Chippendale, cast-iron garden chairs, Burma-teak wardrobes, tea tables, rocking chairs, original doors, and the list goes on.

Same ware but I believe I've seen a wider selection than that of Geetanjali's here:

I remember also picking up stuff at the flea market for a song. Not any more now though, the sellers are pretty knowledgeable today and will quote you market rates.

Hi Anton,

You can find lots of second-hand furniture shops in Pondicherry on the road that leads to Auroville.

In Chennai, go to Mani's Furniture in Royapettah.

You can find some real gems there. They won't be finished/restored. You can do it yourself or get it done.

I don't know of any equivalent places in Bangalore - yet!
