Recommended driver Bangalore to Mysore?

I am looking for a reliable pick up from the airport early Thursday morning, then to Koramangala to drop off a bag and on to Mysore. We do not plan on keeping the car after that, although might if he was particularly good and the rate was right.

Can anyone recommend a driver, and also give some idea on cost. I know the fixed price stand in the airport says INR 2,100 but not sure how competitive that is. All input appreciated.

Hey Sue,

There's a guy in Bangalore who I've been using for drivers for about 5 years now, and he's absolutely excellent. Fluent in English, and incredibly trustworthy and reliable.

I don't have the address on me right now, but his name is D'Souza, and his company is Luciya Tours and Travel. Their office is on O.T.C. Road, Corporation Circle.

I'm sorry, I can't give you an indication of price, as I haven't used his service to get from Bangalore to Mysore.

If you're unable to locate his office phone number, PM me and I can give you D'Souza's mobile number.

Have you considered taking a train from Bangalore to Mysore. All taxis will charge you for a round trip, given the distance between Bangalore and Mysore making the cost prohibitive.

Take a taxi from the airport to Koramangala and then get dropped off at the railstation.
