Hello all,
My husband and I will be passing through Bangalore for 2 nights in Feb. We are in and out by train so I was thinking somewhere close to the train station might be good but I am open to any suggestions. Budget up to Rs 2,000 per night max. Looking for clean and comfortable. I have been reading a lot and my head is spinning . Would appreciate your advice.PS. I am going to ba asking the same question for Chennai as well so if you have any suggestions for there it would be great also. (mods I hope this is ok as it is not strictly a double post but let me know if it's not ok)Thanks heaps |

Kamat yatri nivas is a good option, clean and comfortable and in chennai emerald hotel, close by to central is really good with discount of 30 percent nearly 2000/= per day with breakfast.

I think just initially yes Kumar, and so looking around the web and this site's listings before asking about hotels on a couple of threads, which are now being aptly answered by good folks like yourself
![]() It's true that scouring for stuff on the web it's very easy to lose sight of the forest for the trees; which is in fact why it's not at all how I like to prepare for a trip, somewhat surprisingly perhaps. |

Heheh. Could well happen again this winter.
Anyway we're hijacking this thread. Let's not ![]() (Sorry Rekahs, I've no immediate suggestions on hotels there, or I would have given them.) |
