Photography course in Bangalore

Hi all ,
I have a Canon 400d DSLR and I am in search of a Photography training school . I am busy at weekdays at office so weekend is the only time I can spare .
Is there any such training institutes that will teach me how to click a good photo and details on light , focus , aparteur .. and also how to operate my own camera . I feel I am not using it to its full potential .
Thanks a lot for your time .

oohh yeah .. and I stay in Bangalore []

You can also get in touch with YPS (Youth Photographic Society) located in the State Youth Centre on Nrupathunga Road.

A write up in Deccan Herald on YPS: Snapshots of Youth Photographic Society

Maybe the time was November end when i went to the GK vale outlet on MG road. They were giving away the 400d with around 10 gift hampers. One of them was related to some training.
Dont remember exactly.
Anyways, search goggle for you camera and you should get good results. Testing it out in the open is another way of gaining knowledge.
My friend recently got a 400d. We went to lalbagh botanical garden to test it out. We too are still trying to figure things out.

Check out the nice folks at The Bangalore Photography Club. While they don't offer courses per se, they may be able to recommend someone to teach you. They do weekend "shoots" occasionally.

I think you're best-off getting a basic book on photography or searching the web for tutorials, and then doing a lot of experimentation. And read your camera manual cover-to-cover 3x. Just my 2 rupees.

I'm heading to Bangalore for 3 months this summer (June-Sept), I'm volunteering as a documentary photographer for a few charities. I'd be happy to teach the basics in return for being shown around town at the weekends....

I'd post my website but I'll get in trouble from the moderators...check my signature/profile info for a link to my website. (I'm currently studying a degree in photography in Edinburgh, Scotland).
