Photographer Wanted

Hi there,

My name is Shareen and I am volunteering for an NGO called Dream a Dream. I am currently helping with Arts and Crafts session at an NGO School.

I would love to get some professional photo's done before I leave to go back to London in November. I am wanting to know if there are any students or professional photographers who would be willing to come to the school (Hosur Road, near Sajarpur) and take some photos of me and the children.

I would be willing to pay a small amount as I don't have a lot of money but I am hoping I can find someone who has a big heart and will do this for free as part of their portfolio or assignment. You would be doing a great thing here and I want to give the school some photo's too. I want to capture my experience here and this will be something to remember these children.

Hi there, that would be awesome! If more then 1 wanted to come that would be awesome and the children would also love it! They love having their photo's taken!

The school is called Round Table School in Roopena Agrahar Village, off Hosur Road. It's not far from the Silkboard and Outer Ring Road.

There is a huge flyover towards Electronic City, and the school is just after flyover. Have a look on google maps to give you an idea of the area.

I would arrange to meet them somewhere and then go to the school. The sessions start at 2.30pm and finish at around 4.00pm.

I would really appreciate this a lot! I would love to have some great photos of these children.

oh k.....i m so sorry.. i thought it was somewhere near mumbai.i gt many friends studying photography in in NIFT mumbai......hey shareen is there any way i can volunteer for the NGO you are working for being in mumbai??if you ever visit mumbai or dehradun(uttrakhand) or chandigarh and if you need any kind of help then i will love to volunteer..... but hey i got some friends in banagalore too..i will try to do something.

Hey that is ok...you were trying to help which I appreciate a lot. I have also contacted the Bangalore Photography Club to see if anyone there will be able to help but I appreciate if you can still contact your friends here in Bangalore.

I am not sure if Dream a Dream have an office in Mumbai but I can ask and let you know. Also check out this volunteer directory website as it may be of some help. You can search by State.

i have emailed my friends in banglore.they all are studyin there.so i dont think dey will b able to help you.but this is for a good cause so i m sure they will try their best.when are you going back??

i will check out the website.. i am planning to open my own NGO very soon.dont know much about the whole NGO thing..still working on it..but i really want to do this

Hi everyone! Thank you for such great response. It is now school holidays so I am hoping to get some photo's done before I leave which is now October 17th. I have contacted the Bangalore Photography Club and it looks like they are keen to help out. I would like to say thanks to everyone for your advice and offering your support. :-)
