I always think if people are grown ups, they can handle a few profanities.
And anyway, what is profanity? There are plenty of swear words in the Guardian, and yet it seems infinitely less obscene than, say, the Daily Mail, the UK's self-appointed Ministry of Hate. Tony Blair, Noel Edmonds, Dan Brown – they're all words that are far more offensive to me than ones about arses and genitals. ![]() |
