Marks and Spencer's Bangalore. Sorry men but a ladies question. I am not yet in Bangalore but in my research on shops etc I see that there is a M&S there and wondered if it stocked a reasonable amount ie style, variety and size of women's underwear as well as other women's clothes? Also does it by chance have any food?

Marks and Spencer's Bangalore. Hi all, Thanks people for responding to my question although I still don't know anything about the types etc of ladies underwear M&S carry.I should have put my question in the moving to Bangalore site (yes, newbie to this forum). Ha ha ha g25_wheel, I didn't actually expect there to be food in the underwear, but yes the M&S shops here in Singapore do stock food as well as underwear etc (but obviously not food in the underwear!!!)

They don't do food. The store is very small and choice and sizes very limited. If you are used to the usual large M & S stores you will be rather disappointed.

Thank you pandora for your response which has answered my question. I wasn't expecting the shop to be a big one or sell food (just needed that confirmed)so I won't be disappointed.

Hi Its a small store but you can expect to get all the basics at about the same price as in the UK. Nothing exceptional, so don't expect the Limited Collection, Vintage or Autograph but they have a nice range of undies, basic workwear and casuals. As you would expect the range is targetted at the hotter weather. There is no food section but you can get any food you would get in the UK (except the sandwiches ) here at Nilgris, Total, Spencers or Spar Welcome to Bangalore

Marks and Spencer's Bangalore. Thank you moorhen for your welcome. I will hopefully be arriving late July early August so am still busy in the research and preparation stage. I'm not actually British but do appreciate M&S underwear!

Welcome to Bangalore Harriet! My take on M&S underwear... If you are looking for the frilly stuff , it is available in very limited supply and usually in small cup sizes and huge sized knickers... If you do find your size jump on it! You should expect to be paying around 1500 rupees for a "nice" bra. Otherwise keep a lookout for their sale where you can get really good bargains... Sometimes reduced to 75%!Otherwise most of the stuff is quite conservative! A good brand to look for is Enamor- also in Garuda has just opened... Good luck on your search! Long live frilly underwear! ![]()

Just returned from Bangalore and having spent too much time at Garuda Mall I can say there will be no problem with its Marks and Spencer. Not a big store but has the essentials.
