Karnataka Collge of Percussion (2)

Does anyone know much about the karnataka college of percussion? I've hear albums produced by some of their artists but what do you have to do to study there?
(I just tried posting this but it didn't seem to work, so I'm trying again)

Had to drag this topic up again when I discovered this discography while researching the 1985 album they did with Oriental Wind.

I think that the mridangam player T.A.S. Mani is behind the college. I probably forgot that name when I last posted.

If you are in London, contact these guys. They are both carnatic percussion wizards and come from Bangalore so will certainly know what goes on there. London-(or-near)-based carnatic musicians Balu Ragurhaman (violin) and Manorama Prasad (vocal) are also Bangalorites. In fact, there are so many carnatic musicians in London, who needs Bangalore
