Hotel near cricket stadium / MG Road?

Hi

Myself and 2 friends are going to the Aus v India cricket test in October... and we want to book accomodation well in advance.

Any suggestions for clean tidy accommodation for 6 nights somewhere reasonably near the cricket stadium?

Ideal budget is around 2000rs per room per night... but we could pay more if we have to... maybe 3000rs ... or 3500 is absolutely necessary.

I too am hoping to be in Bangalore for the First
Test.

When I was in Bangalore in 2003 I stayed in a Hotel which was walking distance from the ground, it was called Bangalore International.
I'll go through my souvenier receipts and see If i can find it.I am sure the price was in the range
you have stated.

Looking forward for any replies to your question
as I too will be Interested.

I have a friend in Bangalore which I am hoping can help out, What have you arranged for Tickets to the Match.

Hey Mr Tender,

After browsing Bangalore Hotels in the Hotels section, I am almost certain the hotel I am reffering to is called Nalapads Hotel International
in Cresent Road, I will check how far away this is from the ground.I think I maybe mistaking the
Racecourse for the Cricket Ground,5 years ago since I was there.

Just had a look at Maps of India site and checked out Bangalore Hotels, Yes it is the Same as Bangalore International.

Will continue to Sus it out.
