Hotel in Bangalore for a couple of nights
Hello everyone!
I'll be flying into Bangalore late at night 2nd October and must get on with booking an hotel for a night or two. A friend has suggested the Ivory Towers but frankly I don't like this sort of place and it's far too expensive at £70 a night. Please can someone tell me the name of an hotel, in a fairly quiet location, in a cheaper price range. I don't mind paying £20 a night or even (at a push) £30 if I must. And can one arrange with hotel for pick-up at airport? I know Bangalore is a very busy city and I need to book in advance. Many thanks, Maevepopz |

Hotel Ramanshree Comforts, Hotel Rama, Hotel Harsha, Ashraya, Hotel Empire .
All are in central Bangalore area. Budget would be in the range of Rs 1000-3000. At your budget, I suggest Empire International in Church Street (a shopping street). If you could stretch your budget, Harsha is ideal too.

hi there, just in case you missed my reply on tt forum, try the hotel
bangalore international,it sounds expensive but it's quite reasonable, approx 2200 rps for single room or 2500 rps for double, nice hotel in reasonably quiet location, not sure about airport pick up though, send them an email and see what they say, comfortable rooms including breakfast, and also a good restnt, keep an eye on their phone charges if you ring o'seas, they tried touching me up for a 5-10 min call to aust, trying to charge me 1600rps,THEY FAILED! happy hunting & happy travels rgds, paul vandy |

Hi Vandy
Yes I saw yr reply on the TT. I googled Bangalore International but was put off by seeing 5star luxury with probably 5 star prices! So I'll persevere and send them an email. Many thanks. |

Try these guys, only if you have a late flight into the city. You can walk to the hotel from airport.
