Good place to live near ORR and Bellandur...Where's ZE best place to stay?

Hi!!

I am seeking advices about wich quarter is the best to live near of ORR and Bellandur.. I have my office near of Accenture, Intel, Honeywell... I am in Bangalore just for 6 month and I am looking for a quarter with a minimum of entertainment. I heard that HSR Layout could be good, what do you think about it??

Yeah HSR Layout is good. It comes around 10-12 k for a 2 BHK house

Is there some places in HSR to have a drink or go to dance on week ends??And do you know if koramangala is also a good place??

HSR Layout is mostly a residential layout, no clubs or discos there. However, not too far off is Koramangala, where the options are more. Some of the nightclubs in Bangalore that I know of are Zero-G, Fuga, Taika, Vayu, Athena etc. I'm not a clubbing person and don't go dancing, so you should browse through some of the other threads in this sub-forum for wider choices and detailed ratings.

HSR Layout does have a club; The HSR Club. If you are a member, you get all the benefits. If you just want to have a few drinks and some pretty good food, then you can walk into the restaurant/bar area. It was open for members and their friends only sometime back, but it seems like they are allowing non-members to dine and drink there now.

Marathahalli is also a good place to stay. Approx 8k for a decent sized 2BHK.
