Going out this weekend in Bangalore??

Is this a forum/messageboard/meeting place where people can leave messages for others to meet up with a view to going out somewhere? This doesn't seem to be the appropriate place.

Basically, I'm new in Bangalore and looking to go out this weekend to a nightclub

but have no-one to go with and don't know where the good places are either!

Can anyone help?!

Where are the best places to go? I've heard of Athena, Spinn and Taika - which are good and are there any others for Trance, Techno, uplifting House music? Do any international DJs ever play in Bangalore e.g. PVD, Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Sasha, Ferry Corsten, Tiesto?

What's Planet Rouge at Kemp Fort Terrace like?

Finally, how good are the resident DJs in Bangalore? Have any of them played regularly on the international circuit?

There are a lot of places to go to , depnding on what your mood is

, since you have named a few like Taika , Athena , Spinz, let me tell you one thing , this city shuts at 11pm when it comes to discos and liquor served pubs

, You have night parties like mini Raves and underground clubbing happening on saturday nights , all you need is a flyer to go there . International DJ's do play here ocassionally for big shows like bacardi blasts and FTV parties , drop in a mail with details of what kind are you looking for , i will be able to assist you better.

I've been here for just over two weeks and that's all I ever hear - there's nothing to do past 11pm!

That's when we START to go out in the UK!!

You do mean Bangalore, India - right??

These are the places everyone mentions to me - and Opus also.
I'm sure there are other "underground" places to go but I haven't heard of them and I guess you have to know people who know people to find out about those.

Last Saturday night there was a Rave party , which happened in Kanakpura Road , i got reveiws it went on well after the previous weeks raid

.... the cops must be settled for a week now coz of the money they have been paid , well will keep you guys posted on friday about the saturday parties , probably if i could get passes or flyers will for sure share them , after all who does not wanna party
