Clean/Affordable Guest House Near IIM?

I'm moving to Bangalore for ~ 6 months in September. I'd like to spend my first few weeks in a guest house - maybe longer, if I don't find a decent short-term apartment once I arrive.

I need to be near IIM, but that is my only serious requirement.

Could you recommend a place for either a 2-week stay or something much longer (~ 6 months)?

My upper limit is 14,000 INR/month. But as a graduate student, I'd of course prefer something less expensive!

near IIM in BTM 2nd Stg there are descent Guest houses available for Rs.500-600 per day..Vijay Residency is one of them.
