| Hi All, I heard that some parts of the film Three idiots was shot at Institute of Management Bangalore. Would be great & grateful to go in and take a look! Anyone knows, are visitors allowed to go into the campus? Need any procedures? Or is there time restrictions? I heartd that some campus are open at the weekends. Looking forward to your advice! smile :-) | |

| As an alumnus, all i can say is : yes but you need a valid reason to go inside (there's good security on the maingate). If you have any sort of an appointment with a professor you can. At any rate, the library is open for all and free to visit (individuals and organizations are permitted to visit). If you're a student or have an affiliation with another institution carry your ID card and then certainly you'd be able to visit. The safest way I can think is go on a weekday between 10 to 5 and tell the security you need to make an enquiry at the library office. That's convincing enough. I never thought my insti would get known based on a movie tho!! :O | |

| Dear Vaibhav Arora, Grateful for your kind suggestion! It is a pity that it is the weekend when we will be there; however, hope we can convince the security to let us in. Thanks again! BTW, the Film Three Idiots is really great :-) Greetings to you from China! smile | |
