Calculus courses

Hi,

I'm from Montreal, Canada and I'm going to be living in Bangalore for a year or so. I am starting my masters next year and need two semesters of calculus. I don't know anything about the university system here. Has anyone taken university courses here and had them transferred to another university abroad? Would I be better off waiting till I get back to Canada to take calc?? Or can anyone recommend a university in Bangalore that offers intro Calc courses?

Thanks!

You can try IIM Bangalore

http://www.iimb.ernet.in/iimb/

Not sure if they allow non degree enrollment tho, you can check with them.

Thanks for the suggestions...

I'm trying to apply to a masters program in transportation planning, but I have an arts degree and completed avoided math. Calculus is a requirement for the masters program so I have to take it before I am admitted.

You can join an undergraduate course (B.Sc) in a good college and study for two semesters. It is already late to apply, but some colleges still enrol. Some unversities in Canada accept the credits.

The downside is you will be required to study other courses along with calc. If you need more info pm me

IIM (Indian Institue of Management), Bangalore is a poor choice for a calculus course. Calculus, let we forget, is a branch of mathematics - not management. I second Crickneck's suggestion.
