Question Belur - Halebeedu or Chikka Tirupathi

Hi All,

I have been planning a holiday for my parents and prefer tours from KSRTC , I had to plan ard 1 week holiday so this is what i had chosen.

1. Trip to balaji tripuati ( from KSRTC package http://karnatakaholidays.net/)
2. Trip to Mysore/ooty ( from KSRTC package )

Now i have to plan for approximately 1.5 days more ( saturday and ard 6pm till sunday)

So for Saturday I am stuck with these two packages I want to know which is the better option (again ksrtc package )

Belur - Halebeedu - Shravanabelagola (1 day)
A one-day tour to the Hoysala period temples of Belur & Halebeedu and the tallest stone statue of Gommateshwara at Shravanabelagola, a Jain pilgrimage centre

OR ----

Chikka Tirupathi - Kotilingeshwara - Bangaru Tirupathi - Mulbagal - Kaiwara
A one-day tour to the temples of Kolar, Venkateshwara Temple at Chikka Tirupathi and Bangaru Tirupathi, 1000 Shiva Lingas at Kotilingeshwara, Hanuman Temple at Mulbagal and Amaranarayana Temple at Kaiwara

Can anybody provide some suggestions and also suggest for sunday also as of now i have only one option a half day tour of banglore from ksrtc only...

Please provide your suggestions asap..
Thanks
Saurabh

I will definetly visit belur, halebid and shravanabelagola. You can visit all the places in option 2 in ksrtc buses. I think you can cover chikka tirupati and kotilingashwar by ksrtc bus.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply , Yes I am aware that I can cover both tours by using ksrtc tours .

I just want to know which of these two is better and if possible why , like better temples or better scenery ...

thanks

Hi,
chikka tirupati is also called the poor mans tirupati,it is a very old temple and it is close by to bangalore. Kottelingeswara is a new temple with almost 1000 lingas placed by the people and it is little far away from bangalore.
