If you had more time, you could have visited the lovely Nandi Hills. It's pretty far from the city centre and battling through Bangalore traffic is a night mare. And yes, a trip to Bangalore isn't complete without going to MG Road and Brigade Road - the shopping hubs of the city. You'll do best by booking a tourism taxi at the airport, and navigating your way around the city. And Bangalore at 5AM is when it is at it's best - the cool fresh air fighting a losing battle against the pollution which chokes it everyday... Enjoy your stay, and try not to let the traffic frustrate you... |

don't worry... the bus will be late anyway. :P
And if you find a nice auto wallah, just ask him. The nice guys are usually quite willing to help out, and that early he won't have many fares so a nice leisurely breakfast won't bother him too much. Heck, he may even offer a tour of the city for 20 rupees, if you'll stop at his favorite shop on commercial street... ![]() |
