Question 5 a.m. in Bangalore-----> HELP!!!!!!

Hi!!!
Tomorrow night i'll take a bus from Pondicherry with other friends. We want to visit some cities, the first is Bangalore, but we arrive there at 5 a.m.!!!!
Where can we go at this time to have a breakfast???
What can we visit from the early morning???
Do you know some interesting tour??

We want to stay in Bangalore only until +- 5/6 p.m.

Thank you

Don't worry, Indian cities wake up very early. You will see more people you can imagine at this time of the day

Getting breakfast @ 5 might be difficult, 7 would be more the time by which breakfast gets ready.

At 5, you can have your pick from the Chai shops...

I wouldnt know what 'everything' means. Since you are planning to spend the entire day in Bangalore maybe you can prebook a taxi before you land there and use it for roaming around...

Any idea of dumping your things in a hotel room? It will also help if you need to freshen up...

Bangalore's not a big city, but it would be better if you can go through other threads on Bangalore and form an idea on what to see...

Hello. Not much to see in Bangalore, I'm afraid. There is a park, Lalbagh Botanical Garden which is quite nice and you might like. Aside from that there are a couple of nice government buildings, but sadly not much else. Shopping is the past-time of choice mainly in Bangalore so if you are looking for malls then you won't be disappointed. If, however, you are interested in traditional Indian culture, you won't find much of it here...

Oh yeah, thats true. Culturally there's nothing much to see in Bangalore. Its more like a western city, of course with its own Indian problems...

the 5 am bus will probably arrive at 6 or 6:30am. If you get off at the last stop, there is a good chance the tea shops will be open by then.

At the Majestic bus stand, the restaurants should be open to serve tea and breakfast. Also, try the half day KSTDC tour package- in this case you should be done by 1.30 pm. After which you can head to brigade road and have launch. Following this you can stroll through the various malls and do some shopping. In case you have time, then you can try One day Bangalore tour. Head directly to their Badami house office at Corporation circle from where the bus leaves around 7.15 - 7.30 am. Phone Numbers.
