Trouble in Assam
Hope you enjoyed Kaziranga as much as we did - probably the best park I've been to in India. Astonishing numbers of large animals.
I have my fingers crossed that this settles down again - we thought Assam (and Megalaya) were great and definitely want to go back again. It was closed for so long before...

I personal opinion is quite like that of Rakesh Ranjan. All the disturbance is in the remote upper assam and on the Bihari people who are steadily settling in the region.
The entire problem is politically motivated and has nothing to do with the tourist in the region.
One should always inform about their movement to the local authority.
