Kaziranga in March

I am planning to visit Kaziranga in first week of March for a two day trip. Since this is the first time I am going to the territory, I would need some info regarding:

1) Weather/Climate during this period. What type of clothing is reccommended etc.

2) Apart from the WLS, is there anything worthwhile to be seen there?

3) Any special reccomendations, tips etc.

did you book any hotel in kaziranga?

I have booked @ camp Rhino.

In no specific order--
I'm not sure how much you can venture into kaziranga because this's the season when the forest officials literally put kaziranga on fire.These huge controlled fires helps in regrowth of vegetation. Also the rhinos love to eat the burnt grasses.
It's getting warm, so light woolen clothes will do. But if you want stay overnight on the river bank(there are resorts who arrange these river cruises at night), you might need heavy woolens.
Take the elephant ride in the afternoon- you will spot more animals than in morning trip (due to fog). Binocs are a must- birds like hornbill are very shy.
Apart from wild life- try the enthic food anywhere (heavy weight hotels aren't sensitive to local cuisine). Also buy lots of tea- you will it if you don't. Hope I was of help.
