Cycling/Trekking in north east
Hello folks.
I am going North east (in beg June for 10 days or so). I am trying to figure out if I should take my bicycle or if I should plan treks.
I would like to talk to people who have been there, and can suggest me routes, etc.
Any other folks planning to head that way in next 10 days or so, please do ping me.
PS... I have not made any arrangements for travel or stay
Thanks

You can check out:

and there is also eco-adventure camp in Sohliya village, in Umsning on the way from Shillong to Guwahati. There is a mountain biking trail.
As for treks in Meghalaya
You can do the Double Decker Living ROot Bridge trek in Laitkynsew Village, near Cherrapunjee or the David Scott Trail from Mawphlang to Lad Mawphlang. If you have more energy you can continue to Khadar Shnong area upto Wahkhen.
Or if both are too difficult around you, you can do the shorter treks around Cherra Holiday Resort or the trek from Shillong to Upper Shillong via Shillong Peak.
you can check out this website:

I also forgot to mention the Nongkhnum River Island trek and the Mawthadraishan trek near Nongstoing, which is the district head quarters of West Khasi Hills district.
