Outlets for what?

If you are talking electricity, there is an Indian standard, and you can follow any of the existing threads with no confusion.

Yes, I was thinking my favorite hardcore punk musical outlet could get a little tricky

ps That's OK Lightmoment (apt electrified name? ), hope it will help That thread should, and I think as Nick confirmed that stuff is pretty much universal in India yes. Well, as with most things, I'd be surprised if in this field, too, she might not throw the odd surprise at you, but oh well, and all that.

Sorry, I live in the south, in US, we shorten everything. I just assumed all of India Mike would know what I was talking about.

Wups. I just realized I shortend that sentence as well. I mean in the redneck states we shorten all sentences as much as we can. We literally don't shorten...you know, everything.

LOL. On shortening any hassle with the electric supply: Last spring I observed some Indian road worker powering up his chainsaw by deftly throwing up its extended two live wires over some power lines

... Only in India, indeed

Sorry, lightmoment (Oh! I was having a light moment ) --- I think "outlets" in British English is more likely to mean "retail outlets", whereas we would say "sockets" for electricity.

But hey, I knew what you meant

Oh, and remember the voltage is different --- yours 110, ours 220.

It does in the US also. But, my spouse thinks that whatever she has been running through her mind should be patently obvious to all so she need not specify clearly what she is talking about..
