There are a few threads on this at the bottom of this page. See if you get a hang of things and can make a tentative plan. Share that here and you will get a lot of advice that way than asking some strangers on a forum to make a plan without knowing anything at all.

Day 1 start from Kolkata
Day 2 reach Vizag and visit R k Beach , Shimachalam, Kailash giri and some other places based on time available.

Day 3 Start by train to Araku, you can take one day rail cum road package and return to Vizag in same day or you can stay one night at Araku and next day return to Vizag

Day 4 or 5 Start for Kolkata

There are plenty of hotels available around Vizag station and other areas also.

Rail cum road package cost is Rs 650/ per person ( One day package )

I had stayed in APTDC hotel overlooking the sea. That's the best place to stay in Vizag. Please try to include a trip to Tyda on your return journey from Araku. Spend at least a night in Arakku, if not more. There is a wonderful tribal museum there worth a visit, not to speak of the general beauty of the place.

Rail cum Road Araku trip is organized by Andhra Pradesh tourism Development corporation ( APTDC ).

Submarine museum is in beach road , you can walk upto museum if you are staying in beach area. Or by paying Rs 30 to Rs 40 to Auto you can reach museum ( near R K Beach ).

I know that Gosthani river flows under the bora cave and the river valley at the left side in entrance of bora, is eroded by this river. After that it flows under ground as a tunnel. We have decided for cave expedition in gosthani river.so I want to know that what should we took as precaution and perquisite or any other body for cave cave expedition.

Stay near Kailash Giri APTDC Hotel. You can enjoy the sea and also hike Kailash Giri for a panoramic view of the city. You can take a auto to reach inside the city in 10 mins.
Another good stay option is in Rushikonda Beach APTDC hotel. But it's quite far from the city and after dark very little chance of getting a vehichle.

Activities in Vizag
Day 1
1. Visit Beemli Beach see the confluence of Bay of Bengal and Gosthani River.
2. Visit Red Sand Hills, Totlakonda, Rushikonda Beach

Day 2 - Start Early
1. Visit Vizag Port area, Ross Hill
2. Visit Yarada Beach [my personal favorite ], Lighthouse

Day 3 - Can be used for Araku
Don't take the APTDC Araku tour. You will regret it.
1. Catch Kirandul Express. Make sure you have done proper reservation.
2. Go to Araku directly. It will take around 4 hours to reach.
[Your camera will be busy during the train journey ]
Stay in Mayuri Araku only. Spectacular valley view from the rooms.
This hotel is near the Araku market and adjacent to Tribal Museum.
Relax for the next 2 days . I went there in Aug end.
Visit Botanical gardens in the early hours to get mesmerized with the mist between eucalyptus trees.

While coming back from Araku, take a bus/cab to reach Vizag.
On the way visit Borra Caves. Have lunch near the caves.
Again during return journey make sure your camera batteries are charged

While in Vizag
Visit Shimachalam, Ramakrishna Beach, War Memorial, Aquarium.
Don't forget to spend some time in Jagadamba center

Happy Journey.
Cheers,

Sasanka

Getting reservation in Araku train is difficult during this time. If you can sacrifice the three / four hours train journey then take a cab from Vizag for one day trip to Araku.

If you can manage then just board the train and ask the cab ( from Vizag ) to pickup at Araku station. Not much difference in Price will be there.
