Vizag and quiet beach accom
Hi
Am looking for inexpesive accomodation in Vizag and at a quiet beach nearby. Am now going there to investigate as I have heard there maybe some nice quiet unspoilt beaches with inexpensive/budgety but not rock bottom accomodation. Can anyone help me? Cheers Bertie |

Inexpensive to some people is Rs1000 a night, so I suggest you give a price range.
My auto driver (pre-paid from Vizag train station) kept warning me about the cost of the 2 (yes, only 2) hotels at Rushikonda, of corse I ignored him, he was right, the APTDC place had rooms from Rs1200 and the other place had rooms from Rs600, he told me of another beach with places from Rs400 but I didn't go.

My budget
My budget for a beach place would be 300Rs or preferably less. I like to find a beach for a month or 2 and should be able to get things cheaper like that. As for a place in Vizag anything upto 500Rs is fine with me, can I find a place in Waltair for that.

I was told by the auto guy that there were places near Visag station for Rs200.
The beach with the Rs400 rooms may have other hotels as well, but if you're staying for a month or more you should be able to get the Rs400 place down below Rs300, the beach was said to be exactly halfway between Vizag and Rushikonda. |
