Tirupati airport to Tirumala

Hi,

I am planning to visit Tirumala, and plan to fly into Tirupati -
What is the best way to get to Tirumala from the Tirupati airport ? Does APSRTC run any buses from the airport to Tirumala ? or could we use the prepaid airport taxi ?

Tirupati actually does not have an airport.

The Airport is at Renigunta, which is about 20 kms from Tirupati.

Tirumala hill temple town is about 20 kms uphill from Tirupati.

So, the easy and convenient way to do the trip to Tirumala is to take a car, my guestimation is that, it would cost about Rs. 250..

Dear Mr.treadstone,
APSRTC is operating a Luxury Bus from Airport to Tirumala for the benefit of Passengers arriving in Tirupati by Indian Airlines Flight. Fare is Rs.40/- per Head and the Indian Airlines authorities will also arrange the ""Darshanam"".
(The above information is obtained from I.A. Office in TPTY which operates the HYB-TPTY Flight on MON/THU/FRI/SAT)

No such connectivity is arranged by Deccan Airways which operates a Daily Flight to from Hyderabad to Tirupati (***as told by Deccan Airways people).
