srikakulam flood

Hi friends,
maybe one of you guys knows or has some news about the situatione in Srikakulam, Andra Pradesh. I 've been trying so many times now to get in touch with the Nagavali hotel, but I haven't had any kind of answer. The web side and the phone don't work. I send a mail without replay. I hope nothing worse did happen.

A friend of mine's mother lives there, and my friend took her mum away to stay with her when the foods threatened.

I'll ask my wife to call her* again for news --- but probably there's an IndiaMiker who knows first hand.

*she's my friend, I've known her for years, but she still finds it easier to talk, on the phone, in Tamil to Mrs N!

Just bringing this thread to the top again, in case one of our AP members spots it.

I haven't been able to enquire yet. Been out all morning, and now got my hearing back, courtesy of the ENT doc wielding a vacuum cleaner in my ears...
