sorry

Dear nomad, i'm really sorry about the "shorthand" english, its just that i've been used to the "aim" language here in US. But heres my post again but in regular english. And yes I am Indian, and I'm a Hyderabadi I went to Siddhartha Residential School in Sri Nagar Colony from 3rd class to 6th class.

I'm going from June 20th 2008 to July 21st 2008, I'd really appreciate it if you can try to outline a good trip that will show me all of andhra pradesh and the different foods in andhra

As I've been a resident in Hyd for nearly a year, I can probably answer your pub/club question. As with any major city...certain nights are better at certain clubs...and even on a night you would think might be great at a club...it's dead. There's little logic to it. Below are some of my Hyderabad faves:

Pubs: Firangi Pani, Ten Downing Street, Dublins, B&C
Clubs: F Bar, Touch, Ahala, Liquids...most of the "Clubs" are also restaurants.

Welcome to the site, and thank you for reposting in readable language

When you do your trip, it will be interesting to hear how you find it after such an absence.

Eight years may not seem like a very long time, but I suspect that you'll find the changes massive.

Probably this is especially true of cities like Hyderabad and Bangalore. I've been to Hyderabad just once, and was amazed a the modern shops I saw there. Compared to Chennai it was like visiting London.

Even though we do not really have such shopping centres here in Chennai, we have, of course, had our explosion in the software development, BPO, etc, industries in the decade since I first visited here.

Even in the couple of years that I have lived here, the 'Information super highway' (The Old Mahabalipuram Road) where much of this development has taken place has progressed from being a cart track to being a six-lane road carrying thousands of staff buses every day.

And yet there are probably slum streets with a thatched hut where life has not changed for fifty years. Except maybe one of the sons works in software development!
